KRU Championship standings after match-day 10

After collecting five points from their home clash against Kitale RFC, Catholic Monks are back on top of the KRU Championship Standings.

The former Kenya Cup side have 37 points having registered eight wins in the last 10 games played this season. They have scored 192 points and have conceded 98.


Western Bulls have dropped to the second spot  on the log with 37 points, having collected four points in their 14-9 win over Egerton Wasps. In the last 10 games Echulusi have eight wins, a draw and one defeat.

USIU registered the first draw of the season following their 17-17 scoreline with Kisii. They sit third with 34 points while they top on the scoring charts with 194 points  but have conceded 116.

Top six 

Despite having suffered five defeats this season, Kisumu RFC are placed fourth on the log, 10 points behind USIU. Mombasa are back in the top six, having won five and lost five in the last 10 matches.

MMUST have dropped one place down on the log and they close the top six with 18 points. Ochieng Ahaya charges are level on points with Egerton Wasps who have inferior goal difference.

In the bottom six, Kisii and UoE are level on 16 points while South Coast Pirates are on 15 points. Ngong Warriors and Kitale RFC are in the danger-zone with 14 points each.
