As they prepare to face Homeboyz RFC on matchday 10 of the Kenya Cup season, Kabras head coach Henly Du Plessis is expecting another tough encounter.
The sides will square it out at the Kakamega Showground on Saturday 16 February and Kabras will be hoping register the 10th straight win of the season.
Homeboyz on their part will be keen to repeat last years performance which saw them beat Kabras 30-12 at the venue.
Du Plessis says they will have to be clever in their sessions, correct where they messed against Kenya Harlequins to be ready for the clash.
“It is a tough one again especially after the Quins game which took alot from the boys – body-wise. We have to coach clever this week. We are waiting for them and hopeful that we can improve on what we have did last weekend,” he said.
The South African coach is keen to maintain the winning run with his top target being to stay top on the Kenya Cup log.
“And as I have said before all weekends are not about a bonus its just about winning and staying on top of the log,” he added.
Kabras have three wins in the last six meetings against Homeboyz. Two of their three wins came in the Kenya Cup Semis at Jamhuri Grounds.
