World 7s Series log after Sydney 7s

After winning the Sydney 7s held in Australia, New Zealand have assumed the top spot following their 21-5 win over USA on Sunday.

22 points in Sydney have sent the side to 76 points and they are tied with USA who once again fell short in the finals. Fiji have dropped to the third place with 72 points.

South Africa seal the top four spots with 57 points. The top four teams after 10 rounds will automatically qualify for Tokyo 2020 Olympics. England are two points behind them while Australia have picked 47 points this season.

Scotland, Spain, Argentina, and Samoa seal the top 10 slots. Kenya remain 13th on the log having collected just one point in Sydney.

The league will take a break before resuming action with Las Vegas and Vancouver 7s.
