Kabras are through to the second round of the Mwamba Cup after brushing aside Administration Police with an 82-3 victory in an opening clash staged at Kakamega Showground.
The hosts scored the opening two tries through George Makacha and Kelly Akengo converted one of the tries for a 12-0.
Hoses Ngesa added the third try for the Sugarmen for a 17-0 lead. The visitors were able to get three points on the scoresheet through a penalty kick.
Halfback Dan Angwech got his name on the scoresheet with a try that was converted by Fijian fly-half Jone Kubu. Akengo then made a return to the scoresheet this time around with a try which was the last serious action of the opening half.
In the final half, Kevin Kaboole opened the second half scores before Makacha completed his hat-trick with a converted try. Kaboole touched down his second of the day with Kubu converting to extend the scores.
Bram Mayaka and debutant Ben Odhiambo added two unconverted tries to send the scores to 58-3. Kevin Lihanda and also got in the scoresheet as Kabras added two more tries.
They will now play the winner of the clash against KCB and TUK.
