Kabras Sugar head coach Henly Du Plessis says hooker Coleman Were is currently undergoing rehabilitation after which the club’s medical team will give further information on his injury.
The Kenya Simbas forward sustained a knee injury against Hong Kong at the Repechage tournament in November last year.
The former Nakuru RFC forward could fail to play a part for Kabras this season with the injury.
“He is doing rehab with our physio and the Strength and conditioning trainer. We are still waiting for further information and a soon as we get that we can give more details,” Du Plessis said.
Kabras lead the 2018-19 Kenya Cup standings having picked 40 points in eight outings.
Their next league tie will see them face Kenya Harlequin in Nairobi on February 9.
