Fiji 7s retained the Hamilton 7s title after outclassing USA with an impressive display that saw them win 38-0 in the finals played at FMG Stadium on Sunday morning.
USA enjoyed possession in opening minutes but when Fiji got the ball they took it to several phases before Jerry Tuwai sneaked to the try box and scored the opening try after an offload from Kalione Nasoko.
The Fijians added the second try through Waisea Nacuqu. The side continued to pile pressure on USA who gave in and allowed Fiji to add the third try of the match. Vilimoni Botitu converted Aminiasi Tuimaba’s try to put Fiji 17-0 up by halftime.
