Star studded All Blacks sevens squad for Hamilton

New Zealand sevens head coach Clark Laidlaw named a strong squad for the Hamilton sevens with many fit players available for selection heading into the home tournament.
Sam Dickson, Scott Curry and Kurt Baker had sustained injuries in the first two rounds but they are back and looking to leave a mark in the home tournament according to Clark.
Joe Ravouvou will be making a return to the squad having last featured for the side last July during the sevens world cup.
“Obviously we picked up some injuries through Dubai and Cape Town so to have those guys back fit, healthy and available for selection for a home tournament is encouraging.
“We’re as close to full strength as you can get and we’re really excited about putting that squad on the field. There are a few guys that haven’t played much rugby since the World Cup so we need to train right and get into day one well prepared and hopefully build through the tournament as we go,” said Laidlaw.
