Mondlane at 10 as Arsonists welcome Nandi Bears

Moi Arsonists will be looking to square it out with Nandi Bears RFC for the first time ever as the Rift Valley Nationwide league resumes this Saturday.

The Varsity side have not had any match since the start of the season after their first scheduled games were hit by postponements and walk overs.Their counterparts Nandi have had an imperious form which sees them sit second on the log with 9 points.

Eugene Mondlane will be the day’s 10 who makes a shift from his usual outside centre position.A formidable backrow partnership sees Brian Asoro and Dan Andaye welcome back Brandon Opiyo to the side.Emmanuel Amadi is named at loosehead prop so is Callisto Otieno at tighthead.Kimani and Kinyari resume their midfield combination with Jeremy Opis manning the right wing as Waweu James covers the left wing.

The Arsonists who suffered relegation from championship last season are eager to regain their championship status when the curtains fall at the end of the season.

“Our main aim is to get back to championship and right the wrongs that made us come back to nationwide”

Thaddaues Mwagangi,Wes Lusaka and Stanley Muyula are just some of those named as replacements.
