Rugby Governing body Kenya Rugby Union has confirmed Sylvia Kamau as the new Chief Executive officer.
Kamau has been serving in the capacity on an interim basis for last five months after Ronald Bukusi who had been in office since 2015 resigned from the position at KRU citing personal reasons.
Kamau was to serve in the position until the end of the year 2018 after which the board would recruit a new CEO. The Union has now confirmed that she assumed the position officially at the start of the year.

She is expected to be in office for the next one year.
