New chairman for Kisumu RFC

KRU championship side Kisumu RFC has announced a change of guard in the club’s hierarchy.

According to the club’s statement released on Monday, Edwin Anayo has resigned as chairman, the void filled by Gideon Kidenda who until his appointment was the Vice Chairman.

“Following the club committee’s acceptance of his resignation, Kisumu RFC would like to thank our outgoing chairman for his selfless contribution to the club during his tenure,” part of the statement reads.

“And as we seek to ensure continuity within the club’s administrative unit, Gideon Kidenda takes over the mantle as chairman,” adds the statement.

Kisumu RFC is fourth on the KRU Championship standings having amassed 16 points.
