KRU Championship standings after week six

KRU Championship Match-day six was a bad day in the office for Western conference teams as only two of them – MMUST and UoE Trojans managed to pick wins in their away matches.

Kisumu failed to stop league leaders USIU who added four points to their tally this season. USIU have now collected 25 points and they are the lone unbeaten side in the second tier this season.

They are two points ahead of Catholic Monks who handed Western Bulls the first defeat of the season.

Western Bulls have dropped to third and they remain with 19 points followed by Kisii RFC at 18 points and Kisumu RFC with have 16 points.

Mombasa and MMUST hold the seventh and eighth slots while UoE have rose position nine after the first win of the season.

South Coast Pirates with four points and Kitale with five points complete the 12 team list.
