Kobs hand Warriors second straight defeat in Uganda Premiership

Overall dominance steered Kobs to a thrilling win over 28-3 Warriors in a Ugandan Premiership clash played at the Legends grounds on Saturday

Warriors have suffered a second defeat in the ongoing in the Premiership. Scrum-half Ivan Kirabo gave a head start for Kobs with a 20th-minute penalty goal.

Kobs side further extended their lead in the initial minutes of the first half with a try from birthday boy Justin kimono which was later converted by Ivan Kirabo to end the first half with a  10-0 scoreline.

The Warriors were quick to get off the block in the second half with a penalty goal through Nelson Mandela in the remainder of the second half to bring down the gap to 7 points, however Josiah Sempeje kickstarted the blue army’s second half proceedings with two consecutive penalties and with the wind they traded a try from Adrian Kasito.

In the nutshell, and yet a penalty try for the Kobs side pretty much sealed the blue army’s win. Davis Kyewalabye bagged the man of the match honors home due to his heroic stunts.

In other matches, Heathens beat Rams 39-3 while Pirates picked a 30 -0 win at Buffaloes.

Hippos beat Mongers 24-12.
