Kenya Cup side Mwamba has received a shot in the arm following the return of key players who have fully recovered from injuries.
The Clubs team manager Fahad Mohamed, has confirmed to the club’s official portal that Billy Odhiambo, Edwin Machanje, Marvin Odiembo and Salaton Muturi are in training and will be available for selection against Strathmore Leos on Saturday.
Captain Patrick Ruhiu, loosehead Brian Otieno, Chris Hulk Asira, lock Paul Wahome, hookers Brian Kahura and Kevin Kerore have also resumed training.
Mwamba boss Kevin Wambua believes the slow start witnessed in the opening games was due to errors which he plans to work on as he targets maximum points in the upcoming games.
“We started poorly and was due to some errors we made against the three teams we lost to. We want to ensure that we get maximum points in the next games to put us in a very good position to compete for playoff positions,” Wambua told Mwamba’s official portal.
Stanbic Mwamba are currently placed eighth with seven points, three behind sixth placed Nakuru RFC.
