Pirates end Warriors unbeaten run in Uganda Premiership

Ugandan Premiership defending Champions Pirates produced a stunning performance that saw them trounce the unbeaten Warriors 48-05 in their face-off at legends sports grounds Saturday.

Pirates bounced back from their last-gasp defeat to Kobs RFC to begin the year with a bruising win.

The side went into the break 27-0 leading after tries from Haruna Muhammed (2), Baron Kasozi, Timothy Odongo,Kelvin Balagade, and Ivan Magomu’s conversion.

A cracking second-half display from Coach Bobby Musinguzi’s side got off to a fabulous start with Ivan Magomu crossing over the line with yet another try which would later be converted by Conrad Wanyama.

Balagade added two more tries converted by Ivan Magomu and Tusiime Ronald. Warriors struck back with a consolation try.
