Kabras star Wokorach gives back to the rugby Community

Kabras RFC and Ugandan International Philip Wokorach graced a tag rugby tournament held at Kyadondo Rugby Grounds on Friday.

The tournament attracted over 15 teams and over 300 kids participated with MIA Tigers beating Makerere Junior Rams to emerge winners. Wokorach awarded Junior Heathens a rugby kit.

Wokorach says he chose to come back to the tournament since it is a program that has has discovered talents that are now serving the national team and he felt he owed them.

“I am a product of this same program and I felt I owed the game. It is the reason I decided to be part. I am very glad that I am not the only now. I am playing with people on the national team with whom we were involved in  tag rugby.” Wokorach was quoted by Kratos.

Tag Rugby tournaments are held yearly and beneficiaries of the event include Kevin Kermundu, Paul Epilo, Syrus wathum, Pius Ogena, Michael Wokorach, James Ijongat.
