Kenya Harlequins boss Cardo explains loss to KCB

Ngong Road based Kenya Harlequins suffered second loss of 2018/19 Kenya Cup campaign on Saturday, falling 22-13 to Kenya Cup holders KCB.
In a post-match address, Quin’s tactician Charles Cardovillis broke down what he thought went wrong in the match.
The coach believes that they lost because they did not execute their plan in the opponents 22. He admits that conceding before halftime made his side feel dispirited.
“When we in their 22 their things that we did not do. We got deflated at the end of the first half when KCB put in a try out of nothing especially when we had camped in their half for long period.”Cardovillis on post-match remarks.
“KCB came out strong after the break put in more points and were always playing catch. Against a quality side like KCB playing catch rugby is difficult,” he added.
With the loss, Quins drop to the fifth position as they prepare for matchday five action on December 15th where they play Nondies.
