Ndong speaks on Onsomu's entry and Impala misdoings

Impala head coach Frank Ndong has raised concern over the number of penalties that his team concedes in matches while highlighting the importance of Onsomu’s return.
“We have conceded more penalties and we have allowed teams into our half and they end up getting free points.” Ndong said in an interview after their win over Mean Machine.
Impala struggled against Machine trailing at half time and needed a Quinto Oongo last minute penalty to overcome the students. They won 15-9 against Strathmore and 22-26 against Nakuru which clearly shows they let teams put many points on the scoreboard against them.
The tactician also praised Kenyan international Samson Onsomu who was joining the side for his first match this season saying he brought in the leadership and experience that proved to be crucial in their comeback against Machine.
“His entry helped managed the team, he added experience and good decision making.” He said on the entry of Onsomu.
Onsomu came in as a second half substitute replacing Xavier Bett with Impala trailing 12-7 against mean machine. His leadership in the dying minutes of the game was important, forcing machine to make mistakes deep in their own territory which gave Impala an easy penalty that won the game for them.
Impala have started the season on a high winning all their fixtures so far. They stand second on the kenya cup rankings with 17 points behind leaders Kabras who have 20 points.
