Olindi leading Kenya 7s scoring charts after Dubai & Cape Town

Homeboyz youngster Johnstone Olindi is leading the Kenya 7s scoring charts after two rounds of the World 7s Series.
The halfback has overtaken Dennis Ombachi who was top of the log after Dubai 7s. Olindi has scored a total of 43 points for Kenya with 35 of those being from seven tries while eight are from four conversions has managed.
Level with Norton
With seven tries, the 19-year-old is level with the all-time leading scorer Dan Norton, who has also managed seven tries this season. Seven other players have also scored seven tries this season while Alamanda Motuga is leading the list with 12 tries.
The debutant also leads Kenya’s offloads list with eight offloads followed by Leonard Mugaisi and Ombachi who have seven, and five respectively.
Mugaisi second
Mugaisi is placed second on the scoring charts with 30 points after having scored six tries. Another debutant Daniel Taabu has scored 27 points for Paul Murunga coached side.
Dennis Ombachi is fourth on the log with 25 points. Vincent Onyala has 20 points despite having played one leg.
Alvin Otieno and Jeff Olouch are tied at 15 points while Cyprian Kuto, Eden Agero, Sam Motari have 10 points while Brian Wahinya scored two points for Kenya 7s.
