KRU championship standings after match day four

USIU lead the pack in the championship league with 17 points according to standings released by the Kenya Rugby union despite their game against Catholic University ending controversially.
Western Bulls are second having amassed 15 points after being held to a 10-10 draw by Kisumu. Kisii RFC are fourth with 13 points level with Catholic University while Kisumu who have a point less come in at fifth.
Ngong RFC  and Masinde Muliro University are sixth and seventh rrespectively both with nine points only seperated by point difference. Egerton Wasps are eight on the table with a total of eight points followed by Mombasa who lost to the Wasps over the weekend with five points.
Newcomers Kitale RFC are 10th with a total of four points after losing to fellow newcomers MMUST. UOE who lost Kisii over the weekend are 11th with three points. South coast pirates find themselves in an unfamiliar position, sitting at the bottom of the table having picked just two points in their four matches.
