MMUST beat Kitale for second Championship win

MMUST bagged second win into Championship title campaign round four, beating Kitale 21-5 in a replica of Nationwide finals staged earlier this year.
The Kakamega based side led 18-0 over Kitale in the first half. Kenya 7s trialist Timothy Mmasi touched down the first try of the match.

The cagey second half saw Kitale bag an unconverted try that wasn’t good enough to oversee MMUST 21 points with John Bahati’s added penalty goal.
In Nakuru, Egerton picked a 23-13 win over Mombasa while Ngong beat Pirates 23-8.
