Kenya fall to Fiji in Cape Town 7s

Kenya 7s winless streak in 2018/19 season continued as they suffered a 38-7 loss to Fiji in the second match of the Cape Town 7s played on Saturday.
The match against Fiji was a repeat of last weekend’s group stages match where the Fijians won 43-12. The Fijians started off strongly scoring the opener through Meli Derenalagi at the first minute.
Alasio Sovita Naduva pounced on a loose ball and raced to the try box to score the second try. Kalione Nasoko went over for the third try for Fiji.
Gareth Baber charges went to the break leading 24-0 after Naduva returned to the scoresheet with a try.
In the final half , Sevuloni Mocenacagi and Meli Derenalagi took the scores to 38-0 before Vincent Onyala scored Kenya’s consolation.
Kenya will face France at 641 PM.
