Oilers coach highlights areas to mend ahead of Homeboyz tie

Oilers head coach Gibson Weru has insisted on the importance of correcting errors from their last match while highlighting areas where his team will have to work on before their next match which will see them host Homeboyz at the Nakuru ASK on Saturday.
Weru picked lineouts, defence and decision making as the major areas where his team needed to work on before their next match.
“We have to fix what did not work for us in the match against Nondies. We have to fix our¬†lineouts as a matter of urgency. We have to maintain discipline in our defence and play in the right areas, know when to kick and when to run the ball.” Weru said.
Decision making especially in the final third has been a thorn in the flesh for the Oilers side, losing possession in crucial areas. Oilers lost 28-8 to nondies in their last outing in a match that their coach cited lack of possession in the lineouts as their major undoing in that match.
Homeboyz also come into the tie following a 35-15 loss to Quins and will be looking for a win to boost their confidence as the season picks momentum.
