Kabras star Kubu nearing return, duo need surgery

League leaders Kabras RFC have received a major boost after Fijian back Jone Kubu resumed training.
Head Coach Henly Du Plessis has revealed that the player resumed training this week but he will not be available for selection till 2019.
kenyan International Andrew Chogo is still under rehabilitation while the club’s fans will wait longer South African import Enzo Foutie who picked a knee injury against Oilers. The coach has confirmed that the centre¬†needs surgery on his knee.
“Kubu started training this week but he will only be up for the selection after Christmas break. Andrew is still on rehab, while Enzo also needs to go for a knee operation, ” Du Plessis told Scrummage.
Kenya Simbas hooker Coleman Were is with the National Team the medical staff and he is expected to undergo surgery according to the coach.
The side will be traveling to Nairobi this weekend for a Kenya Cup clash against Strathmore Leos scheduled for Madaraka Grounds. Du Plessis has guided the side to a perfect start and he will be hoping to end the year on a high note.
Their opponents Strathmore are winless and will be coming to the match with an intention of causing an upset.
