Kenya 7s in fourth straight defeat in Dubai 7s

Kenya 7s are yet to bag a win in the opening leg of the World 7s Series opening leg, this is after falling 26-19 to Spain in the Dubai 7s Challenge trophy quarters played at the Seven Stadium. 
Unlike the past three matches, Kenya 7s scored first in the match. Jeffery Olouch scored Kenya’s opening try that was converted by Johnstone Olindi for a 7-0 lead.  A minute later the Spaniards responded via Pol Pla’s converted try.
Three minutes later, Leonard Mugaisi restored Kenya’s lead with a try that was converted by Eden Agero for a 14-7. Javier Carrion leveled the scores with a converted try for a 14-14 tie at the break.
In the final half, Pablo Fontes scored Spain’s third try that was converted. Marcos Poggi scored their fourth try that stretched the game beyond Kenya’s reach.
Spain eliminated Kenya to reach the last Challenge trophy semis. Kenya 7s drops to 13th place semis after the loss.
