Dubai: Kenya stay winless after loss to Fiji

Kenya 7s went down 43-12 to Fiji in their final match of the Dubai 7s group stages played on Friday 30 November at the Sevens Stadium.
Kenya 7s went to the break trailing 17-7. Shujaa allowed Fiji to have an easy way to the try box. Sevuloni Mocenacagi touched down their opening try in the first minute.
Kalione Nasoko stretched the lead to 10 points after dotting the second try while Amenoni Nasilasila went over for the third try that was converted by Nasilasila.
Fiji looked like they would go to the break without conceding but Kenya hustled their way to the try line and scored through Sam Motari while Agero added the extras.
On return from the break, Jerry Tuwai’s brilliant footwork saw him restore their 17 point gap. Apenisa Cakaubalavu and Nasoko scored two more as Fiji moved to 38 points.
Vatemo Ravouvou intercepted Eden Agero’s pass to score the sixth try. Kenya got their final try through Jeffery Olouch.
