Mean Machine boss reacts on first win of the season

Mean Machine handed coach Ramseyfield Matekwa first win of the season after beating Strathmore Leos 23-10 in the early kick-off of the second round of the 2018/19 Kenya Cup at KCB Sports Club on Saturday, November 24th.
After suffering a 41-0 loss from Kabras last weekend, they managed to surprise their former coach’s side Strathmore Leos to their second loss of the season.
In a post-match interview, Ramseyfield was contented with the performance saying,’ It is a fantastic feeling. We knew the structures that the coach was going to employ so we worked on them to counter them and we beat them on the lineouts. We will need to be more composed and work on our mistakes.’
Mean Machine face another tight varsity clash on round three with arch-rivals KU’s Blak Blad. Mean machine beat Blak Blad 15-12 and win the inaugural Varsity League at UoN grounds on Saturday, October 27th.
