KRU Championship standing

After the opening two rounds of the KRU Championship, Kisumu RFC have maintained the stay top of the Standings of the competition.  
Kisumu beat MMUST 28-3 and collected a bonus point which pushed them to nine points in the opening two games. They are on level points with USIU and Catholic Monks who have an inferior point difference.
Former Kenya Cup side Western Bulls have eight points following the win over MMUST and Kisii while Ngong Warriors and Kisii have five points each.
Newbies Kitale and former Kenya Cup side Mombasa are placed seventh and eighth respectively having collected four points. Egerton Wasps are bottom on the log while Pirates and MMUST are 11th and 12th.

The Championship will enter matchday three where six matches will be held and the top teams will be hoping to break away as the bottom team chase for a rise from the danger zone.
