Wambua on why Mwamba struggled against Homeboyz

Mwamba head coach Kevin Wambua has attributed Mwamba’s struggles especially in the first half to inexperience of some of his players.
Just like the clash against Kenya Harlequins the side had a slow start and  failed to bag try in the opening half. They however, managed to score two in the closing but they were not enough to lift them past Homeboyz.
Despite the fight back the side suffered the second straight loss of the season in a match played at Railways Club.
Speaking after the 22-18 loss, the coach said the starts are being affected by the fact that his charges are still learning and he is confident that will get better as they play more matches.
“Mostly its due to inexperience some of this players are fresh in from high school.” Wambua said after the match.
The loss means Kulabu are winless going into the third game of the season. Wambua admitted his team made a lot of errors which they will look to correct before their next match.
“we made a lot of errors. All the tries we conceded were as a result of our indecision in defense and not exiting our territory. It is something we need to work on. Its good that it has happened early in the season. We hope we can check on
that before the next match.”
Kulabu’s third fixture will prove to be a tricky mission as they will face a wounded KCB side who lost to Nondies over the weekend.
