Fiji name squad for Dubai & Cape Town 7s

Fiji 7s tactician Gareth Baber has named his squad for the opening two rounds of the World Sevens Series which gets underway with Dubai 7S.
Baber has picked 13 players for trip with Kalione Nasoko and Jerry Tuwai set to lead the side.
Apenisa Cakabalvu, Mesulame Kunavula, Beniamino Vota, Sevouloni Mocenecagi, Ratu Meli Derelagi, Waisea Nacugu, Vatemo Ravouvou, Aminoni Nasilasila, Vilimone Botitu, Alosio Naduva and Filimoni Tuimaba have made the cut.
Paula Dranisinikula still recuperating from a leg fracture while Josua Kurinabili is unavailable for the first two legs after an ankle injury picked during Oceania 7s tournament.
The team is expected to kick off the journey to Dubai on Friday 23 November and will hold  training camp and will have a game against the USA on Tuesday before kicking off the tournament on Friday 30th.
“We’ve got a squad with a general mix and balance of experience alongside talented individuals who will be making their first appearances in the HSBC series” Baber told Fiji official portal.
“We know securing points early in the season is important and Dubai comes as the first leg where we want to establish ourselves” he added.
Fiji has been grouped with France, Scotland and Kenya.
