Nondies coach half-time talk that inspired thm past Homeboyz

Nondies coach Willis Ojal says motivation during halftime was key in their 20-14 win over Kenya cup heavyweights Homeboyz.
Nondies were trailing 10-14 at halftime and Ojal says this is when he challenged his charges to think about all the hard work they put in the preseason. The players stepped up gears in the second half to drill in 10 more points to win the game.
“The message I sent them at halftime is that ‘remember all the effort that you have put in the preseason’ and it worked,” Ojal said in a post-match.
When asked for a comment on two of Homeboyz tries that were disallowed,   he said some calls also did not go their way too and Nondies just took chances in the game.
“Its part of the game and you have to take the chances that come your way. Even for us, we have some calls we can say they did not go our way so it is about taking the chances.”
Nondies will look to continue their fine start to the season when they face KCB while Homeboyz head to Mwamba in the second round of Kenya cup action.
