KRU Championship standings

The KRU Championship season kicked off on Saturday 17 November in six different venues across the countries.
Tight scorelines were witnessed in the matches played and no team won by a bonus point on day one.
Kisumu RFC won by a nine point margin against UoE Trojans and that puts them top on the 12 man league table.
USIU beat Egerton by a nine point margin and they sit second on the log while Kisii, Mombasa, Catholic Monks and Western Bulls fill the remaining top six spots.
All the six teams have four points after the opening round. Three sides lost by a bonus point on day one  and they are MMUST, South Coast Pirates and Ngong RFC.
Kitale RFC, Egerton Wasps and UoE have no point and they fill the bottom three slots. The matches will enter round two on Saturday 24 November.
