Ayimba's role at Kenya Harlequins explained

Former Kenya 7s tactician Benjamin Ayimba has joined Kenya Cup side Kenya Harlequins as an assistant coach to Charles Cardovillis.
Ayimba was in the dugout as Kenya Harlequins edged Mwamba RFC 29-26 in a Kenya Cup match played on Sunday 18 November at RFUEA Grounds. Cardovillis confirmed that Ayimb has been part his technical bench for the last one month.
Perfect additional
Cardovillis believes that Ayimba is the perfect addition to his bench as they share the same philosophy and he will build a stronger technical bench.
“He has joined us, he is my assistant coach. Apart from building the team, we are trying to build a strong technical team. He is a big mentor, he has the same philosophy as me, a  no-nonsense and we believe in the same things. He has been working with the forwards for one month and am happy to have him on board,” Cardo stated in a post-match interview.
