Autumn internationals: Ireland in historic win over All Blacks as Wales, SA win

Ireland produced an epic display to beat New Zealand 16-9 which was their first win over All Blacks on Irish Soil.
Ireland led 9-6 at halftime with Jonathan Sexton slotting in the penalties for their lead. Beauden Barrett added a penalty and a magnificent drop goal from 40+ metres.
The All Blacks slipped their defense and Jacob Stockdale chipped, regathered and bagged a five-pointer for the only try of the test. Sexton found the posts for conversion as the home side led 16-6.
The intensity of the test wouldn’t let up the All Blacks as they only managed three points through Barrett’s third penalty for the rest of the epic test between the two best teams in the world.
France vs Argentina
After both being in the hunt to bounce back from respective defeats, France downed Argentina 28-13 at Stade Pierre-Mauroy in Lille on Saturday.
Teddy Thomas bagged a brace, Guirado one try and Baptiste Serin slotted two conversions and three penalties for France’s win as Speedster Moyano scored a five-pointer and Nicholas Sanchez adding extras for Los Pumas
Rampant Wales
Much-changed Warren Gatland’s side scored 10 tries in Cardiff as they beat Tonga with a record 74-24 score. Wales took charge with three quick tries, but Tonga briefly threatened a shock victory as they bounced back to level at 24-24 just after half-time but Wales rallied as they battered Tonga into submission after responding with 50 unanswered points.
Unbeaten ends
Scotland’s year-long undefeated run at Murrayfield was ended by prevailing South African side in a 20-26 defeat. Jessie Kriel and Handre Pollard for powered over the line for South Africa’s first half tries with Pollard bagging brace of penalties and conversions as Peter Horne and Hamish Watson score first-half tries for Scotland, extras by Laidlaw that saw South Africa lead 20-17 at halftime.
In the second half, Pollard restored South Africa’s lead after Laidlaw’s penalty levelled it with Elton Jantjies curling in a superb left-footed kick to seal South Africa’s 26-20 win.
