Kabras hand Du Plessis a perfect Kenya Cup debut

Kabras new boss Henly Du Plessis started his reign with a 41-3 win over Mean Machine in a match staged at Kakamega Showground.

Kabras skipper Max Adaka registered the first try for Kabras but Logan Basson could not add the extras. Basson went over for his debut try minutes later but it was cancelled.

The Sugarmen would then add the second try courtesy of centre Fabian Olando.  Lock Hillary Odhiambo also got his name on the scoresheet after landing Kabras third try.

Olando became the first player to bag a brace in the 2018/19 season landing the fourth try that earned Kabras a bonus point in the match.

Ugandan import Philip Wokorach sent Kabras past the 30 point mark after his try was converted by Basson. The fullback would the convert Hosea Ngesa’s try before adding a penalty for a 41-3 win.
