After the first round of the 2019 Rugby World Cup qualifiers- Repechage, Canada are top of the four-team table with five points.
The Canadians beat Kenya 65-19 in the opening clash and picked one bonus point to move top of the standings. They are one point above Germany who beat Hong Kong 26-9 in the second match staged at the Stade Delort in Marseille, France on 11 November 2018.
Hong Kong sit third for having a point difference of – 17 while Kenya Simbas are bottom with a point difference of -49. The Simbas will have a chance to revive their hopes as they tackle Hong Kong what will be a crucial match.
Germany and Canada will face off in the second match as they seek to maintain their winning streak in the competition. The winner of the round robin tournament will fill the 20th slot in the 2019 Rugby World Cup which will be held in Japan.
