Kenya Simbas star leaves Homeboyz for KCB

After the Repechage tournament in Marseille, France, Kenya Simbas fullback Tony Onyango will be plying his trade at KCB.
The fullback left the Deejays in the just concluded transfer window alongside forward Tony Owour who has completed his move to Kenya Cup side Mwamba RFC. Henry Ayah who rejoined the club after a senior stint at Nakuru RFC comes in as Onyango’s immediate replacement.
The Deejays have boosted their squad by bringing in Mark Ongayo from Nondies, Monate Akwei and Joseph Amalemba from Nakuru RFC and Kabras RFC respectively.
Bob Muhati and Collins Olwande have joined from Thika road based sides MKU and Blak Blad. The team will be hoping that the new faces will provide cover for the side in the absence of five players who are with the Simbas and others who are likely to make cut in the final Kenya 7s squad.
The side which is under the tutelage of Simon Odongo, following the appointment of Paul Murunga as the Kenya 7s coach will be hoping to better the 2017/18 season performance. The side managed a semifinal spot in the Kenya Cup last season while the wrapped up the season by winning the first ever 15s title.
