Shamas beat Dagoretti in a build up match

It was another hard-hitting spar witnessed as Dagoretti Bulldogs clashed with Shamas over the weekend, with the latter winning 22-18.
The venue was relocated consequently allowing the match be hosted at Kinyanjui Technical grounds. It was an intense kick-off as both teams struggled to register on the score sheet.
First try
Shamas Benson Salem landed the first try of the match that was succesfully converted to put them on a 7-0 lead. This triggered the Bulls who struck back with a converted penalty after a foul play was sent their side.
Okiki Omayo displayed his prowess by earning the team 3 points with a skillfull kick through the posts. The Bulldogs would later on garner five more points from Moses Lugalia’s touchdown with a failed conversion to send them on the leading streak with a 7-8 scoreline.
Benson Salem proved a fundamental role for the Shamas as he dubbed with crafty sidesteps to land a second try. Shamas winning hopes were cut down courtesy of Bull’s Milton Mbugua’s try that was effortlessly converted by Allan Otaro in injury time. The first half concluded in a 12-16 score-line in favor of the Bulldogs.
In the final half, Shamas managed 10 more points while to win the match.
