Namibia name captain for European tour

African Champions Nambia have picked on centre Darryl de la Harpe to captain the National rugby team on their end of year European tour.
Head coach Phil Davies has also chosen Flanker Rohan Kitshoff as the vice captain.

The two will lead Namibia as they  play three test matches in Europe against Russia, Spain and Portugal.
Namibia outlet the Namibian reports that former captain Renaldo Bothma, who is currently playing for Harlequins in the English Premier League, and full back Chrysander Botha are expected to part of the squad for test matches.
Davies admits that they will have a difficult time to deal with Spain and Russia since they lack match fitness.
“We find ourselves with an almighty challenge against the likes of Russia and Spain who are above us in the world rankings. However one thing I know about our boys is their attitude and pride when they pull on the national jersey of Namibia is unbowed, and therefore we expect to challenge in a very competitive and proud Namibian way,” Davies is quoted by the Namibian..
The team leaves for Russia, via Doha on Saturday, while the first match will be against Russia next Saturday on 10 November. They play Spain in Madrid on 17 November and Portugal in Lisbon on 24 November.
