Nondies pip Nakuru in a friendly

Nondies picked a 22-12 win over Nakuru in a preseason friendly match staged at Nakuru Athletic Club on Saturday 3 November.
The Rangers managed four tries in the match with one being converted while Hanningtone Nabwire and Brian Kimani scored for Nakuru in the match. The loss means Nakuru stays winless in the preseason.
Mitch Ocholla’s side has played four matches so far in the warm to Kenya Cup. And they have lost 37-30 to Homeboyz, 22-13 to Kenya Harlequins in the Floodies and 20-12 to Menengai Oilers.
Their opponents Nondies also came to this after two losses in the Floodies to Mwamba and Strathmore Leos. Both sides are warming up for the new season and they will be hoping to better last season’s performance.

The 2017/18 season saw the two sides miss the Kenya Cup playoffs. In 2018/19 campaign, Nondies have a Jamhuri Derby against Homeboyz as their opener while Nakuru will tackle Strathmore Leos.
