Whitelock to captain All Blacks against Japan

New Zealand will be captained by backrower Luke Whitelock as they tackle Japan on Saturday in Tokyo.
He becomes the 7oth All Blacks test skipper. His brother Sam also captained the side in 2017.  All Blacks head coach Steve Hansen has called in Dalton Papalii and Matt Proctor to the starting lineup for the first time.

Tyrel Lomax, loose forwards Gareth Evans and Dillon Hunt, scrum-half Mitch Drummond, fly-half Brett Cameron and outside back George Bridge are set to make their debuts off the bench.
Nehe Milner-Skudder, Jordie Barrett, Ngani Laumape, Waisake Naholo, Rchie Mo’unga and Te Toiroa Tahuriorangi are in the backline.
