Kenya Simbas tactician on why he picked 7s players

Kenya Simbas boss Ian Snook named five Kenya 7s players in his squad for the Repechage tournament which is the final chance to qualify for the 2019 Rugby World Cup.
Collins Injera, Nelson Oyoo, Sammy Oliech, Andrew Amonde and Willy Ambaka were all included in the final squad that will be representing Kenya in France in November.
The coach says he chose the Kenya 7s players since their presence in his squad bring maturity to the side as well as quality and experience.
“The players have brought a good maturity to the squad. They are experienced people, they have been overseas, (they are) obviously quality players and so I think they have added an edge to the group and so we are looking forward,” Snook told AFP.
Kenya is set to jet out on this Wednesday 31 October and they expected to head to Romania where they will play a friendly against Romania.
