Halfback Erastus Wanyama has ditched Western Bulls and has joined KRU Championship rivals Kisumu RFC.
Wanyama becomes the fifth player to leave the club in the ongoing transfer window. Other players that have left the club include Venance Shikuba -MMUST, Duncan Abuyeka- Nakuru RFC, Chrispin Shitundo-Oilers.
He is set to link up with his former teammate Reinhard Ashioya who quit the Kakamega based side after close to five years of stay and joined the Silverstone Sponsored side.
Wanyama’s exit leaves assistant skipper Allan Kasiti and Suleiman Odongo as the halfbacks in the team. The two can also feature as fullbacks.
Kisumu has also raided Bulls for head coach Howard Okwemba. They will be hoping that new acqusitions will play a key role as they push for a return to Kenya Cup.
