Kobs dethrone Pirates in Uganda Cup

Kobs reclaimed the Ugandan Cup after beating Black Pirates 21-14 in the finals played on Saturday 27 October at the Legend Club.
The winners scored three tries, a penalty, and conversion with Adrian Kasito being named the man of the match after contributing seven points in the win. Kobs tries were scored by former Kabras halfback Ivan Kirabo, Adnan Mutebi and Kasito.
James Ijongat scored one penalty while Kasito converted one of the tries for a 21-14.  The win saw them reclaim the cup which they last won in 2012.
Shield
Black Pirates managed a try from Musa Muwonge as Joel Anguyo scored three penalties in loss. The shield was won by Makerere Impis who beat Jinja hippos 19-6. Syrus Sebuliba scored two penalties for Hippos.
Mubiru David and Wako King David went over for Impis tries while conversions were scored by Maxwell Ebonga and Etwau Denis. Meddy Mapeesa sealed their victory with a drop goal.
