Floodies: KCB ace named MVP as Asati bags two awards

KCB lock Francis Mwita was named the Most Valuable Player in the Impala Floodlit Tournament which came to an end on Saturday 27 October. 
Mwita who has been ever-present and outstanding in KCB’s squad was on the scoresheet as the side edged Impala Saracens 20-18 in the finals to retain the title. Rookie halfback Samuel Asati walked away with the finals match of the match award.

The youngster who started ahead of Michael Wanjala in the finals dotted the opening try in their win and also won the Most Promising player award.
Kenyan Harlequins skipper Peter Misango was named the man of the match in the plate finals. The former Kakamega High School hooker scored twice as Quins beat Mwamba 25-6. Mwamba’s fullback Brian Kivasia was the top points scorer in the competition
In Varsity Category, Mean Machine captain Shadon Munoko bagged the top points scorer award having scored seven tries en route to the win.  His counterpart, Eric Muthama was awarded as the Most Valuable Player.
