Masaku receives boost ahead of new season

KRU Nationwide side Masaku RFC have received a boost ahead of the new season after back row Mickey Omwami recovered from an ankle.
The former Masaku skipper picked an ankle injury during Christie 7s Division Two matches held at Impala Grounds in mid-September.
The player will be hoping to get back on the field as soon as he is done with medication that he has been undergoing the following short illness. The side played its first game of the preseason which ended 10-6 in favour of visitors Aviators.
The side will be hoping to start off the season well after a dismal run in 2017/18 season. The side struggled last season in the Nairobi Region and finished bottom on the log after nine matches of play.
They were in the same conference with Dagoretti Bulls, Stormers, Hurricanes, Shamas, Vandals, Vandals, Makueni, Swara and Northern Suburbs.
