Safari 7s official broadcaster announced

Kenya Rugby Union have announced that Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) will be the official television broadcasters for Safari Sevens set for 9th to 11th November.
The event will have a 12 team top tier category as well as subsidiary age grade and veterans competitions.   Safari 7s makes a return after failing to go on  last year.
“The Kenya Broadcasting Corporation will be the official television broadcasters for the twenty-second edition of the Safari Sevens which takes place from 9th to 11th November at its inaugural venue, the RFUEA Ground, reads a statement by KRU.
So far, Spain, Portugal, Samurai Rugby, University of Jo’burg, Uganda Cranes, Red Wailers, Apache Sevens, Shujaa and Morans have already confirmed their participation.
Kenya7s are the defending champions after beating Samurai International 38-21 in the 2016 edition held at Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.
Tickets, for the event, are on sale and tickets for the Friday 9 November, will retail at a flat rate of sh 500 while  on the second day fans willing to purchase advance tickets will part with sh 1200 for regular and sh 2500 for VIP.
At the gate, fans will pay sh 1500 for regular and sh 3000 for VIP. Children will be charged sh 500 per day.
The Kenya Rugby Union has also revealed that season tickets that cater for the entire tournament are available. They retail at sh 2000 regular and sh 4500 for VIP.
Advance tickets can be accessed at tickets.daitec.co.ke It will also be the first time the event is held at the RFUEA Ground after an eight-year hiatus.
