Kobs to tackle Black Pirates in Uganda Cup Finals

Kobs survived a 2-points scare to down Heathens 10-8 in the semifinal of the Uganda Cup on Saturday at Legends Rugby Club.
Brian Asaba crossed over for Kobs first try but former Kabras man Ivan Kirabo could not add the extras.
Former Kenya Harlequins forward Ronald Musajjagulanyago who was the man of the match added the second try but again the conversion attempt went wide.
Heathens responded with a try from Romano Ogwal after a maul but their conversion attempt went wide too. After the break, Keremundi cut the deficit to 2 with a penalty.
Kobs got the third try which was cancelled with referees citing a forward pass and the match ended 10-8
In the second semifinal,  holders Pirates who outdid Buffaloes 23-09 at Legends Rugby Grounds on Saturday to advance to their third successive Uganda Cup final.
Musa Mwonge forced his way over the line and Ivan Magomu getting through for a last minute try with Conrad Wanyama setting up two penalties and a conversion for Black Pirates 23 points.
Pirates and Kobs will battle for the finals on Saturday.
