Floodies: Quins beat Nakuru to book date with Mwamba in plate final

Kenya Harlequins joined Mwamba in the Floodies plate final after beating Nakuru RFC 22-13 on Saturday.
To drop to plate,Quins lost to rivals Impala in last weekend’s quarter finals while Nakuru were ousted by Homeboyz.
Full back Brian Beckham handed Quins a 3-0 lead before Nakuru drew level through Duncan Abuyeka.
Beckham then converted Frank Wanyama’s try as the Ngong Road based club took a 10-3 lead to the break.
Edward Oseko scored Quins’ second try in the 43rd minute but Beckham sent his conversion attempt wide.
Collins Onyango cut the deficit for Wanyore with a sublime drop-goal before converting Edwin Anunda’s try to take the scores to 15-13.
Quins would find a response as George Owino barged over for a try that was converted by Beckham.
