Alliance High School are through to the final in the school’s category at the ongoing Impala Floodlit tournament after beating rivals Mang’u 8-7 on Saturday.
To earn the win, Alliance scored through an unconverted try and a penalty as Mang’u managed one converted try.
Mang’u opened the scoring in the first half through a try by Victor Mote which Phanuce Songoi converted.

Alliance would then cut the deficit through Maxwell Itegi’s unconverted try before they won it in the second half through a penalty.
With the triumph, Mang’u have booked a date with Nairobi based Ofafa Jericho who edged out Muhuri Muchiri 20-11 in the second semi final that ran concurrently at the RFUEA Grounds.
