Kenya Cup prize money announced

The Kenya Rugby Union has introduced money prize ahead of the 2018/19 Kenya Cup season with the winner set to walk away with 1 Million Shillings.
This comes after the Partnership with Radio Africa Group worthy 35 Million- a year, that will see Kenya Cup matches aired on Bamba Sports. For the first season, Bamba Sports will air selected matches in four venues: RFUEA grounds,  Impala Grounds, KCB Sports Club Ruaraka and the Nakuru Athletics Club.
Each club in the top 10 will receive cash at the end of the season depending on the position on the log. According to the Rugby Union, the runners-up will receive 600000. The third and fourth-placed team will get  400,000 and 300,000 respectively.
The Union has announced that the Eric Shirley Shield team will also benefit on the deal with the winner set to receive 60000 while the runners-up will get 40000
